ERLE FULLENWIDER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Erle Fullenwider, 89, formerly of Idaho Falls, died November 14, 2006 in Tucson, Arizona.
He was born August 20, 1917, at New Sweden to Ralph L. Fullenwider and Mila May Stairs Fullenwider. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. He then attended National Schools in Los Angeles, California.
On December 26, 1938, he married Helen Holm in Idaho Falls. After 65 years of marriage, she preceded him in death in 2004. He worked at Farr Candy Co., Western Creamery, American Smelting and Refining Co., and Massey Ferguson.
He was master of the New Sweden Grange and a member of the Farm Bureau. Erle enjoyed traveling in his R.V., camping, fishing, hunting, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Ann Feld, American Falls , ID
Son: Larry (Eileen) Fullenwider, Tucson, AZ
Son: Brent (Sandi) Fullenwider, Gainesville, FL
10 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; and two brothers, Leo and Dale.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at the New Sweden Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a favorite charity with acknowledgements sent to Wood Funeral Home, P. O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83405-1434
