Erika M. Alexander

Erika M. Alexander, 85, of  Ammon, Idaho, while in Hospice (Symbii) care at the Willows in Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away peacefully on  February 20, 2024.

She was born July 30, 1938, in West Germany. She grew up and attended schools in Germany.

On July 31, 1958, she married Calvin E. Alexander, USAF in Germany. Calvin passed away in March of 1968 while serving in Vietnam. Erika was a hard worker and throughout her life, she worked in various laborer jobs in the food service industry and sometimes worked two jobs to support her daughter and herself.

Erika was Roman Catholic. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, quilting, hand embroidery, cooking, traveling and visiting with friends and family. She was a people person and thoroughly enjoyed being around them. Her greatest legacy is her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Erika is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Michael) Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; 3 grandchildren, Joey, Jennifer, and Jenienne, and nine 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers, two sisters-in-law, one sister, and one brother-in-law.
