Eric Guy Peterson

Eric Guy Peterson, 59, of Ammon, passed away May 12, 2025, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.

Eric was born November 29, 1965, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Evan Parley Peterson and Kolleen Nelson Peterson. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

On October 8, 1988, he married Jolene Sessions in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were blessed with four daughters. Eric and Jolene made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Eric worked in sales for BMC West and Home Depot.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Boston Massachusetts Mission. He served in many church callings. When Eric tried something, he stuck with it. He loved putting things together and fixed everything he could. Eric enjoyed gardening, yard work, building things, and camping.

Eric is survived by his four daughters, Cortney, Chantell, Megan, and Kaitlin Peterson, all of Ammon, ID; mother, Kolleen Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID; three brothers, Wade (Dawna) Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID, Dale Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID, and Brett (Dana) Peterson of Layton, UT.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jolene Peterson; and father, Evan Peterson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Ammon 5th Ward, 2055 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Ty Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
