Emily W. Miles - 09/12/2001 Emily W. Miles - 09/12/2001 EMILY W. MILES IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Emily Walton Miles, 92, of Idaho Falls, died September 12, 2001, at her home. She was born May 19, 1909 at Grace, Idaho to Hyrum Ransom and Lottie Covert Ransom. She grew up and attended schools in Thatcher, Idaho. She married Lawrence Walton on August 23, 1926 at Grace, Idaho. He later passed away. She married Wesley Miles July 23, 1987. He also preceded her in death. She was employed by Roger Brothers until she retired. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting and made many afghans and baby clothes for her grandchildren along with winning numerous prizes at the fair. Surviving are:Son: Robert Walton, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Hollis (Naomi) Walton, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Dave (LaRea) Walton, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter-in-law: Patty Walton, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: Howard Ransom, Burley, IDSister: Chloe Fowler, Grace, ID 8 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 14 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands; two sons, Lawrence Walton Jr. and John Blair Walton and one daughter, Helen Walton.
