BARRIE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Elva Neilsen Barrie, 93, of Idaho Falls, died November 30, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from causes incident to age, one day after her 93rd birthday. She was born November 29, 1909 at Monroe, Utah to Neils Lauritz Neilsen and Sarah Lillian Bates Neilsen. She was raised and attended schools in Monroe, Utah and in Rigby, Idaho. She married Andrew R. Barrie August 1, 1933 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, journaling and crossword puzzles. Surviving are:Husband: Andrew Barrie, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Betty (Ivan) Huntsman, Shelley, IDSon: Robert (Shirley) Barrie, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Barbara (Jerry) Rounds, Garfield, IDDaughter: Jeanette (Vernon) Foster, Ucon, IDDaughter: Mary Lou (Phillip) Dupes, Leawood, KSDaughter: Veda Barrie (Robert) Weatherbee, Salt Lake City, UTDaughter: Vada (Steve) Molen, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Joyce (Glayson) Pickett, Shelley, ID28 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter, a great great granddaughter, a step great great grandson, and a son-in-law. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at the Milo LDS 2nd Ward, with Bishop Kenneth Stucki officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, December 3, 2002, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road, and beginning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
