Elsie Rachelle Taylor

Elsie Rachelle Taylor was born to Chase and Joni Taylor on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 12:32 a.m. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.  A ruptured uterus during delivery resulted in devastating complications.  She passed away seven days later on October 24, 2019, at 1:18 p.m. Those seven days were her gift to her family.

Elsie is the youngest of six children. Her oldest brother Alvin (7) excitedly told his friends all about his new sister.  Clark (5) was happy to have another sister to tease.  Alaina (2), Beth (2), and Claire (2) were all ecstatic about being little mommies to their baby Elsie.  Chase and Joni were eager to hold, hug, nurture, and raise this sweet girl.  Elsie will remain in her family’s hearts until they meet again.

The family will hold a viewing for family and friends on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse located at 2020 South Charlotte Drive, Idaho Falls.  A graveside service will be held at New Sweden Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
