OBITUARY INFORMATION Elsie Bowman Elsie Faye Baker Bowman, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away on September 24, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1939, in Salmon, Idaho to William Cecil Baker and Mary Gertrude Corlett Baker. She grew up and attended schools in Salmon. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She also worked as an Associate at Walmart, at Idaho Fresh Pack, Teton Dry Cleaners, and, in her younger years, as a waitress at Doc’s Café. She has lived in Idaho Falls, Soda Springs, and Wayan, Idaho. Elsie is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, doing crafts, ceramics, baking, canning, and collecting elephants. She also loved snowmobiling. Elsie looked forward every year to going on a mother-daughter trip and spending time laughing and having fun. She especially loved her family and spending time with them. Survivors are: Son: Dan (Carol) Baker, Bancroft, ID Son: Ron Baker, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Lori (Rich) Johnson, Thayne, WY Daughter: Tonja (Gary) Snow, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Lisa Taylor, Austin, TX Son: Mike (Lorna) Bowman, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Bonnie Buttars, Idaho Falls, ID 31 Grandchildren and 48 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and 2 grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon). The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
