ELOISE WOODHEAD IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO: Grace Eloise Woodhead, 96, former resident of Salt Lake City, died September 25, 2002, at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was born January 25, 1906 at Sunnyside, Utah to John Quincy Bass and Grace McDonald Bass. She grew up in Kenilworth, Utah and attended schools at Price, graduating from Carbon High School. She married Gladstone Ewart Woodhead on March 20, 1926 at Price, Utah. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She taught piano, worked part-time for J. C. Penney and played the piano for Virginia Tanner Dance School. After her husband retired they moved to Salt Lake City. She managed Ben Albert Apartments until she was 80 years old. Three years ago, she moved to Idaho Falls to be near her daughter. She was an avid bridge player, talented pianist, and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are:Daughter: Jean Bowman, Spokane, WADaughter: Marjorie (Ray) Dickson, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Wanda Elliot, Phoenix, AZSister: Bonnie Browning, Salt Lake City, UT 8 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Max Woodhead; and a granddaughter, Michael Ann Brown. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2002, at the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
