ELMA BRANDON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Elma Naomi Crow Brandon, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully Monday, September 24, 2007, surrounded by her loved ones, at the home of her daughter in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Creekside Hospice.
Elma was born September 9, 1924, in Ammon, Idaho, to Walter Newton Crow and Margaret Vilate Allen Crow. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon.
She married Willis Elwood “Bill” Brandon November 1, 1950, in Ammon. She was a homemaker and mother and worked for many years as manager of the Idaho Falls High School cafeteria. Bill passed away February 28, 2007.
Elma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully as a Primary and Relief Society teacher. She enjoyed square dancing, crocheting, family history, quilting, and cooking. She and Bill started the Promenaders Square Dance Club and spent many happy hours with friends as Bill called Square Dances and Elma helped teach round dancing for many years. Elma cherished her family above all else and loved to be with them.

Daughter: Connie Lee (Gary) Clay of Post Falls, ID
Son: Neal Alan Brandon of Meridian, ID
Daughter: Judy Marlene (Todd) Ritter of Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Orval Crow of Ammon, ID
Sister: Elsie Owen of Ammon, ID
Sister: Odetta Sessions of Ammon, ID
14 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, three brothers, a sister, and one grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2007, at the Idaho Falls LDS Stake Center, 1155 East First Street, with Jason Skillings, a counselor in the Idaho Falls 24th Ward Bishopric, officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
