Ellis Tippets

ELLIS TIPPETS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ellis Irwin Tippets, 95, of Idaho Falls, died November 14, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born June 24, 1912, in Georgetown, Idaho to Henry Walter Tippets and Myrtle Larsen Tippets. He grew up and attended schools in the area. On October 31, 1936, he married Mary Alice Partridge in Shelley, Idaho. He worked as a ranch hand, a furnace repairman, and was a truck driver in the construction industry. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and tinkering. Ellis especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: Son: Leon (Judy) Tippetts, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Vaunda Giberson, Mountain Home, ID Daughter: Carol Friesen, Hayward, CA Over 38 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ashment; a son, VerNon Tippets; three sisters, Elizabeth Newman, Utanha Bunn, and Helen Allen; and a brother, Verl Tippetts.
