Ellen (Pederson) Mcclure

Ellen Pederson McClure, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 26, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Ellen was born on March 11, 1947, in Fordville, North Dakota, to Arthur and Odessa Carlson Pederson. She grew up in Fordville and graduated from Fordville High School. She later attended business college.

In the 1970's, she married Albert “Bert” Southall in California. Several years after Bert's passing, she married Sidney McClure and they made their home in Idaho Falls. After Sidney's passing, Ellen went to work in the health care field.

Ellen was raised in the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her family, reading, and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Sidney McClure and Bert Southall; brothers, Dwain Pederson and Ronald Pederson; sister, Roslyn Stephens; and stepson, Daniel McClure.

She is survived by her sister, Kathryn (Robert) Twaddle of Santa Cruz, CA; sister-in-law, Nancy Pederson of Santa Cruz, CA; sister-in-law, Janice Pederson of Carrington, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held in California.
