Ellen Mae Coolidge

Ellen Mae Coolidge, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 15, 2012 at her home. She was under the care of Idaho Home Health and Hospice. She was born July 13, 1926 to Loyal Izzard and Thelma Cundiff Izzard in Redding, California. She attended school and graduated from Shasta Union High School. Ellen married Jerrold Oliver Coolidge on September 3, 1949 in Redding, California. Though her lifetime she worked at the Department of Rehabilitation of the State of California, the University of Idaho Department of Agriculture and for the Atomic Energy Commission (INL). She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Ellen enjoyed bird watching and doing the things to attract the birds to her home and bird feeders. She liked to travel to Market Lake to watch the birds. She especially enjoyed her daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jerrold Coolidge of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Margaret Adamski of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Susan Coolidge of Idaho Falls, ID; 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and a grandson, Devlin.
