Ella Marie Wayland Hendricks, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 1, 2014, at Peak Village of dementia. She was under the care of her family and Encompass Hospice. Ella was born October 30, 1949, in Rigby, Idaho, to Raleigh Terrence Wayland and Josephine Lerean Ames Wayland. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. She lived in the Idaho Falls area most of her life, except for nine years in Pocatello. She raised her family with Reuel D. Hendricks. To this union were born three children, Jesse, Josh, and Jennifer. Ella was a homemaker and mother and also worked as a hairdresser and day care provider. She was a member of New Life Church and attended Idaho Falls Calvary Chapel. Ella loved to read and adored her children and grandchildren. Ella is survived by son, Jesse Hendricks of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Josh Hendricks of Montgomery, TX, daughter, Jennifer Hendricks of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Terry Wayland of Ririe, ID, sister, Erma Lee of Boulder, MT, sister, Jolene Hernandez of Meridian, ID. 7 grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Rose and Laura. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Archer-Sutton Cemetery.
