Elizabeth Lange

Elizabeth Jane Dean Lange, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away on January 4, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society Idaho Falls Village. She was born July 21, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John Edgar Dean and Elizabeth Holt Dean. She grew up and attended schools in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. On September 10, 1955, she married Russell Stuart Lange in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania. In 1965, they moved to Simi Valley, California where they lived for 40 years, before moving to Idaho Falls 9 years ago. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also worked in nursing and hospital administration. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, serving others, and especially loved spending time with her family, particularly the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors are: Son: Russell Dale (Karen) Lange, Coeur d’Alene, ID Daughter: Cindy Jane (Michael) Miller, Idaho Falls, ID 7 Grandchildren: Justin Miller, Jared Miller, Brittany Giorgio, Kelli (Luke) Hager, Caitlin Miller, Brandon (Danielle) Lange and Karilyn (Levi) Wilk. 6 Great Grandchildren: Cooper Lange, Hunter Lange, Shelby Wilk, Landon Wilk, Cameron McDonald, and Samantha Elizabeth Hager. She was preceded in death by her husband; and brothers, Robert E. Dean and John Dean. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Ammon Cemetery with Pastor Bob Sherwood, of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 1-1:30 p.m. at Wood East Side (963 S. Ammon).
