She was born June 8, 1972 in Marietta, Georgia, to Sonny and Betty Andrews. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1990, where she was a cheerleader and member of the soccer team. She also attended the University of Alabama and University of Mississippi before moving to Idaho Falls. She had lived in Idaho for six years, where she was attending school and working as a waitress. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marietta.
