OBITUARY INFORMATION Elisa Sibulo Elisa Castro Sibulo, 90, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away October 5, 2013 at her home, surrounded by family. She was under the care of Idaho Home Health and Hospice and her loving family. Elisa was born June 14, 1923 in Manila, Philippines to Juan Castro and Eleuteria Gomez Castro. She attended public schools in Manila. She spent sixty years in Manila before moving to eastern Idaho. She lived in Idaho Falls, ID for eight years before moving to Shelley, ID, where she spent the last twenty-two years. She became a naturalized American Citizen in the early 1990's. In 1940 she married Nicomedes Ombao Sibulo in the Manila, Philippines. Nicomedes passed away on May 24, 1994. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Elisa worked as a seamstress in the garment industry in Manila. Elisa was a loving and caring mother and raised her children well, despite all challenges. She enjoyed singing, cooking, sewing, listening to music, and taking care of and babysitting her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Grace (Victor) Kelsey of Shelley, ID; Son: Wilson (Remedios) Sibulo of Shelley, ID; Son: Nelson Sibulo of Shelley, ID Son: Emmanuel Edison (Evelyn) Sibulo of San Fernando, Camarines Sur, Philippines; Son: George (Jocelyn) Sibulo of Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines; Son: Norman (Jocie) Sibulo of Shelley, ID; Son: Wellington Sibulo of Chester, PA; Son: Winston (Marilou) Sibulo of Spokane, WA 19 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother and one grandson. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Blessed John Paul II Parish (Corner of 9th & Lee)
