Elisa Fregoso Johnny

Elisa Fregoso Johnny, 90, of Lancaster, California, passed away September 23, 2023.

Elisa was born November 7, 1932, in San Diego, California, to Alejandro Fregoso and Beatriz Munoz.

On June 2, 1969, she married Tony Johnny in Reno, Nevada. Elisa and Tony made their home in Lancaster, California, where they raised their children.

Elisa was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was very creative. She loved doing crafts and shopping! She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, and loving mother to her four children.

Elisa is survived by her husband, Tony Johnny of Fallon, NV; children, H. Ralph (Annette) Perez of Idaho Falls, ID, Martha (Benjamin) Hancock of Idaho Falls, ID, Anthony G. (Allyson) Johnny of Gilbert, AZ, and Karen (Kevin) Martz of North Edwards, CA; brother, Robert Renteria of Westminster, CA; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and ten of her eleven siblings.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with H. Ralph Perez officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
