ELIO ESQUIVEL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Elio Esquivel, 83, died May 20, 2006, in Idaho Falls, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Editt and David Keller.
He was born September 5, 1922, in Argentina, to Eleodoro Esquivel and Dominga Naveda Esquivel. He grew up and attended schools in San Juan, Argentina.
He married Maria Evangelista Aguero June 30, 1944, in San Juan, Argentina. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo, Utah, LDS Temple in September, 1977. They raised their family in Argentina, where he was a printer and owned a print shop.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he worked as a temple worker in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and had served as a district president, branch president, Bishop's counselor and as Stake Patriarch.
Being very family-oriented, he loved being with his children and grandchildren, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed dancing and singing.

17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Elio Roberto Esquivel, and a daughter, Rosa Esquivel de Castro.
Pprivate Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2006, at Fielding Memorial Park in Idaho Falls under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
