BETTY MOORE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Elfriede Philomena Christina “Betty” Moore, 78, of Idaho Falls, died May 22, 2003, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1925, in Marschendorf, Czechoslovakia, to Johann Hilbert and Emmily Wanka Hilbert. She grew up and attended schools in Czechoslovakia. She married Phillip D. Moore in May, 1956, in Germany. They lived in numerous places due to his Army career, and moved to Idaho Falls in 1973. She was a homemaker and mother and had worked for the R. T. French Company and K-Mart until her retirement. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She loved her flower gardens, especially the roses in her back yard, and also enjoyed fishing and camping. Surviving are: Daughter: Dianne (Michael) Bush, Idaho Falls Brother: Johann Hilbert, Hessen, Germany 1 Grandchild She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two sisters. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Phil Simpson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
