Eleanor Satalick

ELEANOR SATALICK IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Our beloved mother and grandmother, Dottie Satalick passed away May 16, 2003 at the home of her granddaughter, Sherrie Ryan in Rigby, Idaho. Dottie was born in Portland, Oregon on October 7, 1909. Dottie had a zest for life, never spending an idle moment. She filled her days gardening, sewing, bowling, entertaining and dancing. She loved to design costumes for holiday dances, and never missed an opportunity to salvage, repair and redress a doll, old or new. In 1930, she married James Vernon Gustin, who preceded her in death. Vern and Dottie had two children. In 1979, she married Nicholas Satalick who also preceded her in death. Survivors include her son James LeRoy Gustin and wife Carmen of Sarasota Florida, daughter Velva Lennox and husband Phil of South Glastonbury, Connecticut, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and her day caregiver Mary Storer and husband Scott. Dottie will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A private family funeral will be in Coos Bay, Oregon a later date.
