ELDON RYNER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Eldon Clifford Ryner, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 5, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1926, to Ernest Eldon Ryner and Mabel Vera Labrum Ryner. He was reared and attended schools in Idaho Falls. On November 16, 1944, he married Norma Mae Hunt in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized June 28, 1988, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He worked at the Potato Growers Hydration plant in Idaho Falls. During World War II, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on the U.S.S. Saratoga aircraft carrier in the Pacific. After the war he was honorably discharged. He worked briefly for the Pacific Fruit Express Railroad. He worked for the Upper Snake River Valley Dairymen Association for 14 years. He worked for Allied Van Lines for 35 years until his retirement. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the High Priest Quorum. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Mexico and Arizona, taking pictures with his movie camera, western music, collecting records, painting, woodworking, and yard work. Survivors include: Wife: Norma Ryner, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Linda (Dennis) Neddo, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Larry Eldon (Diane) Ryner, Moreland, ID Son: Clifford Ray (Brenna) Ryner, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Helen Mae Flora, Menlo Park, CA Sister: Vera Irene Schwarze, Idaho Falls, ID 10 Grandchildren & 19 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Ryner. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
