Elden R. Struhs - 04/11/2002 Elden R. Struhs - 04/11/2002 ELDEN R. STRUHS AMMON, ID -- Elden Reynold Struhs, 65, of Ammon, died April 10, 2002, at his home. He was born June 29, 1936 at Thornton, Idaho to Reynold Struhs and Barbara Mary Curr Struhs. He attended schools in the Los Angeles area, graduating from Inglewood High School. He then attended Woodbury College in Los Angeles and graduated with his Bachelor's Degree. He married Raeleen Long on October 30, 1955. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He worked as a sound technician, builder and Real Estate Broker. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While living in California, he served as a stake mission president and served two stake missions. He also served as a counselor in the bishopric and as ward clerk twice. He served as a Branch President in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, building and remodeling. Surviving are:Wife: Raeleen Struhs, Ammon, IDDaughter: Susan Raeleen Struhs Smith, Madras, ORDaughter: Debra Jean Struhs Guess, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Ann Marie Struhs Brogan, Morgan Hill, CASon: Chad Rey Struhs, Cordova, AKSister: JoAnn Rice, IL 17 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
