WAYNE DOUGLASS
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Elden Wayne Douglass, 76, of Idaho Falls, died September 10, 2005, at his home.
He was born March 11, 1929, in Tetonia, Idaho, to Leland Eugene Douglass and Ruby Arlain Christensen Douglass. He attended schools in the area graduating from Teton High School. He lived in the Driggs area for 27 years. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force.
He married Donna Ruth Larsen, his best friend and life-long companion, June 20, 1952, in Driggs, Idaho. In addition to farming, he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, Guy Nielson Construction and Perc Coburn Construction Company.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the companionship of his dogs all his life, especially Duchess, who watched over him during his illness. He also enjoyed antique bottle collecting, hunting, fishing, metal detecting and gold panning with a very special nephew, Eugene Hansen and wife, Branka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Thomas Carroll Douglas, a sister, Lois Arlain Hansen, a sister-in-law, Roberta Cordon and a niece, Carma Collins.
Graveside Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at the Darby Cemetery, near Driggs, Idaho.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, before proceeding to the cemetery.
Burial at Darby Cemetery is under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
