Edward Schenck

Edward Allen Schenck was born May 5, 1949, in Idaho Falls Idaho. He graduated in 1967, from Idaho Falls High School. And then went to work at Yellowstone Leather where he worked for 50 years. He died March 8, 2016, in Idaho Falls at EIRMC of natural causes.

Ed is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Oliver Fox Schenck; his children Amanda Schenck MacInnes (Tim), Adam Schenck (Melanie), Angel Fox Terry (Scott), Brittany Fox Judkins (Brett); 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; his sisters Glenna Schenck Braun (Emile), Linda Schenck Ford (Vern), Sonya Schenck Casper(Robert); 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Eddie enjoyed going to church with his wife, and playing cards & dice with their friends. At an early age he started fishing and enjoying the outdoors with his dad at Birch Creek. Later he would speak of the many trips taken with his son Adam. He enjoyed sports, coaching, playing, watching and supporting everyone who asked. He enjoyed spontaneous trips with his sisters to Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole Wyoming, and to see shows. Going over Lolo Pass to Lewiston, Idaho, to spend time or just driving over to try his luck at a local casino. He would do anything to put a smile on your face especially when he thought you were down, even going as far as twerking.

Eddie was a character who brought love and happiness to all he met. When asking his family and friends to describe him in one word these are a few they used, ace, smiley, friendly, happy, spiritual, patient, dependable, love, giving, awesome, compassionate, loyal, silly, strong, supportive, positive, forgiving and generous. One in a million and full of life. He was all of these things and more and tried to instill them in all of his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and everyone he met.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father Glen E. Schenck and Ethel Stanger Schenck, and a grandson Jacob Allen Klabenes.
