Edward "Eddie" Kraus

Edward Ray "Eddie" Kraus 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 25, 2012 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Eddie was born July 25, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert George Kraus and Mary Frances Arnold. He grew up in Oklahoma and Nebraska where he attended Superior High School in Nebraska. In high school Edward wrestled and earned a scholarship to Oklahoma University. Eddie worked as a carpenter in the construction business. His love and expertise in carpentry came from his grandfather Kraus who loved woodworking. Eddie enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, camping, nature and being outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his many friends and family. Survivors include his beloved sweetheart, Charlene Southwick of Idaho Falls, ID. Mother: Mary Kraus of St. Cloud, FL Brother: Robert (Verna) Kraus of Arvada, CO; Brother: Richard Kraus of Kissimmee, FL; Brother: Jon Kraus of Kissimmee, FL; Brother: Kelly (Kris) Kraus of Waterlou, IL Sister: Scharlotte (Greg) Fleeger Kissimmee, FL. many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Kitt. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kraus, a brother, Michael Kraus, and two sisters Helen Arlene Kraus and Katherine Annette Kraus. A celebration of his life will be held in Superior, Nebraska in July.
