Edward Bou Jr.

Edward Maurice Bou, Jr. passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 85, due to health complications of a fall.

Born and raised in San Bruno, California, Edward spent his early years there before relocating to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in the early 1980s. Idaho Falls became his cherished home for the past 44 years.

Edward was a proud graduate of Capuchino High School in San Bruno, Class of 1956. He began his career as a mechanic and then worked at the garbage company. He then started and ran his own trucking business, which he operated from 1964 until the early 1980s. After moving to Idaho, he continued his career as a driver, working in both the trucking and construction industries.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 yrs, Cindy Bou, and his parents, Edward Bou, Sr. and Merlyn Bou, of San Bruno, CA. Edward is survived by his three sons: Dominic (Nicole) Bou, Edward (Jolie) Bou III, and Mike Bou. He also leaves behind his sister, Gloria (Lou) Flanders of San Bruno, CA. Edward was a grandfather to five grandchildren: Gage Bou, Matt Bou, Jillian Bou, Kyle Bou, and Kelsey Benge; five great grandchildren: Savannah, Corbin, Weston, Waylon, Louis, and Luca. He was also a bonus Grandpa to Eric, Brady, Carson and Mykah.

Edward had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy over the years in hunting, fishing, and off-roading in his Jeep. His passion for cars was undeniable, and he could often be found showcasing his prized 1934 Ford hot rod at local car shows.
