EDRIS L. MOORE
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Edris Lee Moore, 95, of Idaho Falls,
died February 16, 2004, at Idaho Falls Care Center.
She was born November 3, 1908, at Ammon, to Niels Severin
Lee and Lena Frances Helmandollar Lee. She grew up and attended schools
in Ammon, attending Ammon Elementary and Ammon High School, then graduated
from Idaho Falls High School.
She married Willard A Moore September 28, 1933, in the
Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They lived briefly in Ucon, then made their
home in Shelton, where she lived for 69 years. She was a homemaker and
mother and had also worked in farming, laundry, and as a church custodian.
Her husband passed away August 26, 1967.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served as a Primary Teacher for 23 years, Sunday School Secretary
for 12 years, Ward Librarian for 17 years, and in many other callings
in the Relief Society and Young Women organizations over the years. She
was a charter member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers since 1942.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, and making quilts and pillow tops for family
and friends. She loved to raise a garden and sing in glee clubs and choirs.

12 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers,
Desmond Lee, Clifford Lee, and Melvin Lee, three sisters, Treva Peterson,
Lila Guymon, and Ora Holst, and a great granddaughter, Taylor Moore
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February
21, 2004, at the Clark-Shelton LDS Ward, 198 North 4300 East, with Bishop
Larry Stucki officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from
7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and Saturday for one
hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
