EDNA LOGUE
PALISADES, ID -- Edna Doerrmann Logue, 79, a retired secretary / budget clerk of Palisades, Idaho, died November 14, 2009, at her home.
She was born January 31, 1930, in Mickleton, New Jersey, to William and Anna Nolte Doerrman.
Survivors include her husband, Lou; a son, Russ, of Jackson, Wyoming; a son, Terry (Andrea), of Auburn, CA, a son, Randy (Jennifer) of Hollister, CA, and a daughter, Dale (Bill) Klobas of Swan Valley, ID; a sister, Ethel Doerrmann Corlis of Venice, FL; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Doerrmann Treadwell, a brother, William Haines Doerrmann, and her parents.
Edna and Lou were childhood sweethearts and were married January 10, 1948. They were married 61 years. Edna was Valedictorian of her class. She moved with her husband and children to California in 1958. where they lived in Sherman Oaks, Paradise, and California City for 36 years, before retiring to Idaho in 1994.
Edna had 31 years of service with the State of California. She worked in the Van Nuys EDD, Chico EDD, Chico State University and served the last 14 years with the city of California City in the Mojave Desert.
Edna loved her family. She enjoyed going to her children’s athletic events and traveled many miles to watch softball, track, football, basketball, etc. Her hobbies included collecting coins and stamps, photography, fishing and traveling.
Edna’s wishes were to be cremated and no services.

Lou & family; I was so sad to hear of Edna's passing. I'm certainly glad I ran into you both at Fred Meyer a few weeks back, and was always thrilled to visit when you stopped at Wonder Bread! I'm so sorry to you and your family. You and Edna have a special place in my heart.
