Edna Gneiting - 08/20/2002 Edna Gneiting - 08/20/2002 EDNA GNEITING IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Mary Edna Dunn Gneiting, 83, of Idaho Falls, died August 20, 2002, at her home. She was born May 8, 1919, at Tetonia, to Albert Bunyan Dunn and Lydia Jane Beard Dunn. The family later moved to Rigby, where she grew up and attended schools, graduating from Rigby High School. She married Glen Clayton Gneiting December 24, 1939, at Garfield. She was a homemaker and mother. She also worked as Postmaster in Basalt and had a store there for a few years. She later worked at Just's Appliance for many years. Her husband passed away February 15, 1992. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had served as a visiting teacher. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to work. Surviving are:Daughter: Marcia [Aldon] Swearingen, Idaho FallsDaughter: Sandra [Ted] Jones, Idaho FallsDaughter: Linda [Claude] Mecham, FirthSister-In-Law: Louise Dunn, Albequerque, NM 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, two grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. Burial will be in Grant-Central Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
