Edith Park

Edith Mae Park, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 13, 2018, at The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice.

Edith was born May 13, 1935, in Twin Groves, ID, to Allan R. Cazier and Hazel Marble Cazier. She grew up in Twin Groves and graduated from South Fremont High School.

On June 10, 1953, she married Alan K. Park in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born six children, Gregg, Gary, Brian, Brad, Becky, and Gayle. Edith and Alan made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Edith worked as a waitress for many food establishments in Idaho Falls.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved bowling, reading, playing piano, crocheting, quilting and sewing. She always loved to share time with her grandchildren. Edith was a giving person and always had time to listen and share with her family and friends.

Edith is survived by son, Gregg A (Marilee) Park of Pocatello, ID; son, Gary C Park of Cedar Rapids, IA; son, Brian K (Gail) Park of Shelley, ID; son, Brad L (Sheryl) Park of Walla Walla, WA; daughter, Becky Marie Park of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Gayle Michelle Park of San Antonio, Tx 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Park, father, Allan R. Cazier, mother, Hazel Cazier, sister, Liona Palmer, and brother, Gail Cazier.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS 9th Ward, 395 2nd Street, with Bishop Panting officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.

Funeral Services will be held

Saturday March 24, 2018 , 11:00 AM at Idaho Falls LDS 9th Ward

The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Eastside, 963 S. Ammon, and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Wilford Cemetery.
