EDITH L. NICHOLS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Edith Lorraine Bartlett Nichols, 93,
of Idaho Falls, died January 17, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical
Center.
She was born July 23, 1911, in Medford, Oklahoma, to
John William Bartlett and Leota Belmear Bartlett. In 1917, the family
moved to Idaho Falls, where she grewup and attended schools.
On May 23, 1931, she married Harry Lee Nichols in Idaho
Falls. They were later divorced and he died on March 4, 1951. She was
a mother and homemaker. She also worked at Ray’s In N Out and at
Roger Brothers from which she retired.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Edith found enjoyment in life's simple, everyday pleasures.

Son: Bruce (Janice) Nichols, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Lola (Evan) Petersen, Covington, WA
Sister: Mae Loveless, Kalispell, MT
11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Normalee Hack; a son, Ronald
Nichols; three grandchildren, Troy, Diane and Debbie; three brothers and
two sisters.
There are no services planned. The family will visit
with friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2005, at Wood
Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery under
the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
