Edis Lea Wadsworth Thomson, 94, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the home of her son in Star, Idaho. She was born April 21, 1921, in Taylor, Idaho to Glen Wadsworth and Lula Rachel Starkie Wadsworth. She grew up in the area and attended Taylor School where she graduated as Valedictorian of her 8th grade class. She then attended Shelley High School where she graduated in 1939. On October 14, 1939, she married Ray Leo Thomson in Taylor Idaho. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1989. She was a mother, grandmother, and homemaker and also worked for 35 years as Cosmetician at Skaggs Drug. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers (DUP) and Ladies Auxiliary for Union Pacific Railroad. Edis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served at the Shelley Stake Genealogy Library. She enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, gardening, needlework, and genealogy. Survivors are: Son: H. Lynn Thomson of Star, Idaho Sister: Lela Johnson 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Tora Geneal Haycock. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Taylor Cemetery.
