Eduardo "Eddy" Irigoyen, 51, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 22, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Eddy was born April 29, 1966, in El Paso, Texas, to Ruben Irigoyen and Maria Hernandez Irigoyen. He grew up and attended schools in Springerville, Arizona, and graduated from Round Valley High School. He also attended Arizona State University and Idaho State University. Eddy was a loving father to his four sons, Nathan, Matthew, Jon, and James, and his two grandsons, Lock and Cy. He made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he owned his own business, Advantage Chimney Sweeps. He was a member of Watersprings Church. He enjoyed horseback riding, weight lifting, wrestling, football, rock climbing, watching movies, woodworking, photography, and spending time with his boys and grandboys. He volunteered for Camp Magical Moments, a cancer camp for children. Eddy is survived by his son, Nathan (Abby) Irigoyen of JBLM, WA; son, Matthew (Jillian) Irigoyen of Idaho Falls; son, Jon Irigoyen of Idaho Falls; son, James Irigoyen of Idaho Falls; mother, Maria Irigoyen of Lakeside, AZ; brother, Ruben (Becky) Irigoyen of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Aida Irigoyen of Lakeside, AZ; sister, Marcie Jaramillo of Eagar, AZ; brother, Marc Irigoyen of Springerville, AZ; sister, Nancy (Don) Bierman of Wellington, CO; brother, Armando (Brandy) Irigoyen of Eagar, AZ; grandchildren, Locklynn and Cyrus Irigoyen; and significant other, Lindsey Pruyn. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Irigoyen. Private Family Services will be held.
