Earl Thomas Miller, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 24, 2015, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation.
Earl was born February 14, 1938, in Taylor, Idaho, to Edwin Miller and Gladys Madolin Priest Miller. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Idaho State University.
On June 28, 1958, he married Carol Ann Miller in Woodville, Idaho. To this union were born six children: Lisa, Tom, Jon, Anne, Joan, and Craig. Earl and Carol made their home in Idaho Falls, where Earl worked in sales and the farming industry.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved church ball, road trips, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandkids. Earl and Carol served a couple's mission in West Virginia.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Lisa (Carl) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Tom (Trudy) Miller of Tremonton, UT; son, Jon (Laurel) Miller of Lava Hot Springs, ID; daughter, Anne (Pete) Heiman of Casa Grande, AZ; daughter, Joan (Tom) Mortimer of Chubbuck, ID; son, Craig (Michelle) Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Gail (Jane) Miller of Walnut Creek, CA; brother, Shorty (Janet) Miller of Pocatello, ID; brother, Glenn (Gloria) Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gilbert and Wendall Miller; and granddaughter, Nicole Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Ammon LDS 23rd Ward, 4030 John Adams Parkway, with Bishop Chad Murdock officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
