EARL LAMAR JOHNSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Earl Lamar Johnson, 81, of , Idaho Falls, died February 18, 2002, at Life Care Center.
He was born December 23, 1920 in Idaho Falls to George W. Johnson and Ethel Leona Stoddard Johnson. He grew up in Coltman and attended schools in Fairview and Ucon where he played basketball, sang in the choir and graduated from Ucon High School.
He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to San Jose, California.
He worked as an journeyman painter owning his own business and living in El Cereto, California for 40 years and in Idaho Falls for 13 years until the time of his death.
He was an accomplished piano player and enjoyed dancing, fishing and the outdoors.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Larry Sautter officiating.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at Wood Funeral Home.
