Earl Bailey

EARL F. BAILEY Earl F. Bailey, 73, of Idaho Falls, died December 9, 2003, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1930, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Earl Frederick Bailey and Alice Ann Seedall Bailey. He attended Ucon Elementary and graduated from Ucon High School. He married Vonda Lou Burtenshaw April 19, 1950, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was a farmer and truck driver all of his life. She preceded him in death March 11, 1993. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Executive Secretary, in the Elders Quorum, and in various other callings. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and he enjoyed 4-wheeling, motorcycling, gardening and all outdoor activities. Surviving are: Daughter: Pamela (Larry) Gray, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Mari Lynn (Craig) Jackson, Lakeside, AZ Daughter: Marcia (Greg) Barlow, Gilbert, AZ Daughter: Gaylene (Steve) Giles, Hummelstown, PA Daughter: Lisa (Vance) Hawkins, Orem, UT Son: Bradley (Kerri) Bailey, Iona, ID Sister: Joyce (Walt) Burt, Ririe, ID 24 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 1 brother, Jay Bailey, and 1 granddaughter. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2003, at the Ucon LDS 2nd Ward, 10854 North 41st East, with Bishop Tim Solomon officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and for one hour before the services on Saturday at the church.
