Dwight Alvin Dauber, 91, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 21, 2025, at his home. He was under the care of Eden Home Health and Hospice and his loving family.
Dwight was born December 3, 1933, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Daniel Dauber and Angela Wickham Dauber. He grew up and attended schools in Salmon, Idaho.
On January 16, 1960, he married Patricia Ann Dauber in Brainerd, Minnesota. Dwight and Pati made their home in Hungry Horse, Montana, where Dwight worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 33 years.
Dwight enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Dwight is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Hernandez of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Lance E. (Karen) Dauber of Burien, WA; sister, Joann Ackerman of North Bend, OR; and two grandchildren, Gabriella and Noah Hernandez.
His wife, Patricia Ann Dauber, passed away on May 14, 2021.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Montana, spreading Dwight and Pati’s ashes in a special place for them.
