Dustin Berry

Dustin Berry, 29, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 15, 2016. Dustin was born May 20, 1986, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Bill Houx and Jolene (Berry) Gregory. He grew up in Idaho Falls during grade school, and attended junior high in Rigby. He graduated from Rigby High School in 2004. In high school he took an interest in the medical field and went through the CNA program. He did some schooling at Stevens-Henager College. He worked for Peak Village Assisted Living. Dustin loved scouting, fishing, camping, family get-togethers, Harley (his dog), and was a good friend to all he met. He seemed to know how to make everyone smile, laugh, and feel comfortable. His friends gave him the nickname "Blue," (Berry). He took Harley to the doggie park and the river often. Dustin is survived by mother, Jolene Berry Gregory, of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Bill (Ginger) Houx, of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Amber Kristina (Heath) Dunn, of St. Anthony, ID; sister, Melissa (Cory) Worrell, of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jake (Teja) Hartill, of Idaho Falls, ID; brother Adam Hansen, of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, BJ (Katie) Houx, of Idaho Falls, ID; grandmother, Betty Houx, of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don C. Berry, Zina Anderson Berry, and L. B. Houx; his cousins, Joshua Clinton Berry, Shae Christopher Ryan; and second cousin, Alan Jackson. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Fallsbrook LDS Branch, 3700 East Lincoln Road, with Bishop Wade Billman officiating.
