Click Here To View Memorial Video Duane Lynn Hall, 64, of Rexburg, passed away January 28, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Duane was born October 22, 1950, in Rigby, Idaho, to Lynn F. Hall and Iris Meikle Hall. He grew up on the family farm in Burton, Idaho, where he learned to work hard along-side his father. He attended schools in Burton and Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army as a Communications Specialist during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Panama. On July 14, 1972, he married his sweet pea, Alene Jensen in Rexburg. To this union were born six children, Jena, Trevor, Brandon, Rainey, Dax, and Kade. Duane and Alene made their home in Rexburg, Idaho, where Duane was a potato farmer and later worked as a spreader operator for Valley Agronomics. He was very proud of his “Coke Zero” air machine. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he served in many callings, and especially loved serving on the BYU-Idaho campus. He loved to hear the testimonies of the young adults. Duane always took care of others before himself. He was a tender, loving, and kind husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, digging potatoes, snow machining, fixing and tinkering with things. Duane is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Alene Hall of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Jena Callister of Rexburg; son, Trevor Hall of Rexburg; son, Brandon (Tiffany) Hall of Ocala, FL; daughter, Rainey (Jeremy) Scott of Rigby; son, Dax Hall of Rexburg; son Kade Hall of Rexburg; 13 grandchildren; mother, Iris Hall of Rexburg; brother, Boyd (Lareen) Hall of Rexburg; sister LuAnne (David) Munns of Rexburg; sister Sheila (Scott) Clawson of Rexburg; He was preceded in death by his father Lynn, his second Mom, Nola, and his grandson Tatum. Military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Rexburg LDS 19th Ward, 2332 W. 2000 S., with Bishop Daren Call of the Rexburg LDS 17th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

Rexburg, ID, Madison 83440 Notes: The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
