DUANE DENNING
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Duane Nielsen Denning, 72, of Idaho Falls, died August 23, 2005, at his home.
He was born May 28, 1933, in Lincoln, to Gladys Nielsen and Manuel Denning and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Roy Ben Edmiston. He grew up in the area and attended Ammon High School.
On June 23, 1950, he married Viola May Wadsworth in Lincoln. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 17, 1967. In 1962, he founded Denning Well Drilling, which he owned and operated with his family throughout his life.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed racing stock cars, motorcycles, and snow machines. He also enjoyed working, restoring old cars, boating, fishing and traveling with his friends and family.

18 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson, Kameron Denning.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2005, at the Ucon LDS 1st Ward (10854 North 41 East) with Bishop Sid Hill officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon) and Saturday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
