Douglas John Antol

Douglas John Antol, 74, of Ammon, passed away August 1, 2021, at his home.

Doug was born January 24, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to John Robert Antol and Margaret Lanora Flanigan Antol. He grew up and attended schools in Colorado and graduated from Westminster High School. After high school he joined the Navy and served during Vietnam War.

On June 13, 1976, he married Theresa Ann Hammer in Denver, Colorado. Doug and Theresa made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Doug  worked as a mechanic for the INL.

He was a member of the Catholic church. Doug enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and working on cars.

Doug is survived by his sister, Sherry Davison of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Margaret Antol; wife, Theresa Ann Antol; maternal grandparents, James W. Flanigan and Alice Ofilia Flanigan; paternal grandparents, Andrew Antol and Anna Antol.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
