Douglas Jay Walters, 50, lifelong resident of Idaho Falls, passed away on June 17, 2011, at his home. Doug was born May 12, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Reese Jensen Walters and Marilyn Blanche Lewis Walters. He attended school at Skyline High School. Doug worked as a clerk in a convenience store for a while. He had endured a disability for a long time. He married Perline Hampton Walters. They were later divorced. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Doug enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling and four-wheeling. Doug is survived by his mother, Marilyn Walters; brother, Kevin Reese Walters, both of Idaho Falls, ID; Step-daughter, Nicole (Arturo) Morin of Idaho Falls, ID; Three grandsons, Cody, Tanner and Terrance also of Idaho Falls, ID; he was preceded in death by his father. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
