DOROTHY WHEELER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Dorothy Helen Keele Wheeler, 68, of
Idaho Falls, died May 1, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 26, 1935 at Arco, Idaho to Lynn Taylor
Keele and Ruby Angeline Long Keele. She grew up and attended schools in
the Lost River Valley area, graduating from Mackay High School.
On June 3, 1952, she married George Farris Wheeler in
the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. After their marriage they moved to Mackay,
and then to Challis. They later moved to Mountain Home and Grand View.
In 1955, they moved to Idaho Falls where they have since resided. She
worked as a Nurse at the LDS Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital and also
at Health and Welfare at the Child Development Center. She was a member
of Cowboy Poets.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she published the church bulletin and each week wrote an original
poem for it. She enjoyed writing poetry and had several books published.

Son: Robert (Lori) Wheeler, Nampa, ID
Sister: Kathy Bell, Darlington, ID
7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 infant son, 1 infant daughter, a brother,
and a sister.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May
6, 2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS Mountain View Ward, 1450 Mountain View
Lane, with Randy Wheeler, Second Counselor in the Mountain View Ward Bishopric,
officiating..
The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 7-8:30
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the
services at the church.
Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
