Dorothy L. Tyler - 04/15/2002 Dorothy L. Tyler - 04/15/2002 DOROTHY L. TYLER Dorothy Louise Cleverley Tyler, 81, of Idaho Falls, died April 13, 2002, at her home. She was born December 15, 1920 at Shelton, Idaho to Delbert Franklin Cleverley and Mayme Louise Johnson Cleverley. She grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Ucon High School. She married J. Douglas Tyler on October 4, 1939 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked for Bonded Hatchery and for Hud's Market in Coltman. She lived in the Ucon/Coltman area for 58 years. The last 8 years she resided in Idaho Falls. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in numerous calling which included Primary President, Young Women's President, Librarian, and was a visiting teacher for over 55 years. She was a gifted musician, and could play the piano and harmonica simultaneously. She enjoyed fishing, camping, spent numerous winters in St. George, UT and was a devoted wife, mother, and dearly loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are:Daughter: Bonnie T. (Oral) Elser, Rigby, IDSon: Douglas Tyler, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Carol Beth (Evan) Miner, Columbus, INDaughter: JoAnn (Tom) Haynes, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: Owen Cleverley, Pocatello, IDBrother: Grant Cleverley, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: Wayne Cleverley, Rexburg, IDSister: Eva Jean Call, Seoul, KoreaBrother-in-law: Norman Top, Idaho Falls, IDSister-in-law: Virginia Cleverley, Rexburg, ID 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Eric; a brother, Mark; and a sister, Alta. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Thursday, April 18, 2002, at the Idaho Falls LDS Kearney 1st Ward (1860 Kearney), with Bishop Mick Coombs officiating. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery.
