Dorothy Staggs

Dorothy Janett Munro Staggs, 67, of Rexburg, passed away on April 16, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born February 21, 1946, in Soda Springs, Idaho to Harold Levern Munro and Dorothy Christopherson Munro. The family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she graduated from Granger High School. She continued her education by attending Salt Lake Community College and University of Utah. She married Eric Larsen and they were later divorced. She married Larry Staggs and they later divorced. Dorothy was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a custom seamstress, social worker, and was a Certified Peer Specialist. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a very positive influence on her Rexburg Ward and among her friends at the Brenchlee Apartments. Dorothy enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her family. Survivors are: Daughters: Susan Larsen of Los Angeles, CA and Anjanette Larsen Weise of Pocatello, ID Sisters: Ann Nelson, Kay Hutchings, and Susan White Brothers: David Munro, Richard Munro, Jerry Munro and William Munro Grandchildren: Altair Raines, Rachelle Barnard, Kevin Raines Jr., Desiree Moses, Donald Unmacht IV, Axel Belnap, Heather Larsen, Hailey Weise and Robertsyn Weise Great Grandchildren: Otto Raines, Samantha Sullivan, Jessica Sullivan, Malachi Guthrie and Ben-Michael Cronin She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Munro. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 7035 W. Lochness Ave. (3605 S.) in West Valley City, Utah, with Richard Munro officiating. Send donations or flowers to R.
