Dorothy (Kempf) Jones

Dorothy Esther Jones, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 15, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice.

Dorothy was born November 1, 1933, in Butternut, Wisconsin, to Robert Hugo Kempf and Alvina Esther LaFay. She grew up and attended schools in  Butternut and Ashland, Wisconsin.

On February 2, 1952, she married Paul Trevors Jones in Ashland, Wisconsin. They were blessed with seven children, William, Barbara, George, Edward, Donald, Patricia, and Daniel. The family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 1971. Dorothy worked at a hospital and as a sales associate for Walmart until her retirement in 2017.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, gardening, and camping.

Dorothy is survived by her children, William Harold Jones, Barbara Marie (Richard) LeBeau, George Robert Jones, Edward John Jones, Donald James Jones, Patricia Ann Jones, and Daniel Paul Jones; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul Jones.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
