DOROTHY INGELSTROM
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Dorothy Nettie Hoff Ingelstrom, 82,
returned home on July 24, 2004. She was born September 29, 1921 in Cornish,
Utah, to Henry Keller Hoff and Pearl Ames Hoff. She was reared by her
mother and step father, Walter Hodges, whom she adored.
In her early years, Dorothy grew up on the family farm
in Trenton, Utah, where her simple and happy life close to her family
and the earth helped shape the remarkable woman she became.
In 1952, she moved to Idaho Falls, and later married
James Ingelstrom on November 5, 1954. Their two sons, Kevin and Kim, were
welcomed by Dorothy’s children, Walt, Rick, Madylon, and Ronni.
Her most beloved treasures were each of her children and grandchildren.
In addition to being a marvelous mother, she invited others, young and
old, to find complete acceptance under her safe and loving wing.
Her husband, James, son, Rick, and granddaughter, Bridget
preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Walter Q. Hill
of Florida, Kevin Ingelstrom, and Kim Ingelstrom (Mandi) of Idaho Falls,
Madylon Lambert of Parma, Idaho, and Ronni Leonard of St. George, Utah.
She leaves behind 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who will
also miss her smiles and hugs and encouraging ways.
Funeral Services will be held at Wood Funeral Home (273
N. Ridge) at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, and the family will
visit with friends that morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral
