DOROTHY FUGER-AUSMUS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother,
Dorothy Maurine Fuger-Ausmus, died peacefully at her home on September
30, 2004 with her husband, Roger, and her family by her side.
Grandma was born May 10, 1926, in Idaho Falls to Trueman
O. Nielsen and Gwendolyn Burckhart Nielsen. She was raised in a loving
home by her mother and stepfather, William H. Perry. She attended Riverside
Elementary and O.E. Bell Jr. High. Grandma loved Idaho Falls and made
it her home.
Grandma met her sweetheart, Roger Allen Ausmus 27 years
ago. Together they enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Grandma also loved
bowling, bingo, sewing and crocheting. She was a great fan of the Idaho
Falls Pioneer Baseball league and never missed a home game. Her passion
was yard sales and finding treasures for her children, grandchildren and
great grandchildren. Spending time with family was most important to grandma.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she enjoyed homemaking meetings where she visited with her friends.
She took great pride in being a cook at the ARA and enjoyed helping other
people throughout her lifetime.
Grandma will be greatly missed by her:
