DOROTHY ELLSWORTH
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Dorothy Dean Reynolds Ellsworth, 87, of Idaho Falls, died January 23, 2007 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
She was born July 13, 1919, at Humphrey, Idaho, to Nathan E. Reynolds and Jennie Mae Milner Reynolds. She lived in the Spencer and Dubois areas as a child, but later moved to Idaho Falls. Following high school, she attended Ex-cel-cis Beauty School and in 1939, earned her cosmetologist license. She later received a Licensed Practical Nurse certificate.
On July 28, 1946, she married Robert Glen Ellsworth in Deer Lodge, Montana. She worked as an LPN at LDS/Riverview Hospital for 17 years.
She enjoyed the outdoors and Old West lore. Dorothy loved working with the children in Pediatrics and was always very loving and thankful to everyone.
Survivors include:
Son: Edward Ellsworth, Ripon, WI
Son: Wayne Ellsworth, Worland, WY
4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren
Adopted family: Mike and Carolyn McGuire, Idaho Falls, ID
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and a brother.
Private family services were held under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
