Doris Arlean (Thomas) Prine

Doris Arlean Prine, 61, of Terreton, passed away May 9, 2025.

Doris was born May 23, 1963, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Mae Wright Thomas. She grew up and attended schools in Montgomery.

She met Edward "Ed" Prine when she was 20 years old. She moved to Henderson, Nevada, until 1986. On June 16, 1992, she and Ed were married in Montgomery, Alabama. Doris and Ed made their home in Terreton, Idaho. They had four children. Doris worked for Walmart in their Deli.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her animals and yard were her life. She had three dogs and four cats.

Doris is survived by her husband, Edward "Ed" Prine of Terreton, ID; son, Greg Thomas of Montgomery, AL; son, Edward Thomas of Eagle, ID; step-son, Patrick Prine of Terreton, ID; step-son, Kenny Jones of Prattville, AL; brother, Bobby Poutre of Montgomery, AL; sister, Norma Poutre of Lakewood, CO; brother, Kenny Thomas of Prattville, AL; and 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Henry Latham.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Terreton LDS Chapel, 1297 E. 1500 N., Terreton.
